Ingredients
- 350g bread flour
- 5g instant yeast
- 20g olive oil
- 3g salt
- 260ml lukewarm water
- Toppings – red onion, red pepper, fresh basil, olive oil for drizzling, sea salt flakes
Method
- Mix the flour, yeast and salt together in a mixing bowl.
- Pour in the olive oil and water and mix on medium for 5 minutes.
- Allow the dough to rest for 30 minutes.
- Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead by hand for about five minutes.
- Put back in the bowl, cover it and leave to rise until doubled in size.
- When well risen, turn the dough out onto a floured surface and using your hands push the dough into a rough circle on a heavily floured tray. Try not to knock the air out of the dough while you are shaping it.
- Sprinkle your toppings on the dough, drizzle with olive oil and a little sea salt.
- Lift the dough onto a preheated pizza stone and bake in a hot oven at 220c for about 25 minutes.
